Who replaced upper moon 6?

In Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Upper Moon 6 is a title given to two demons, Daki and Gyutaro, who were siblings. They were defeated by Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, and the Demon Slayer Corps during the Entertainment District Arc. After their deaths, the Upper Moon 6 position became vacant, and it was later filled by another demon.

Replacement of Upper Moon 6:

After the death of Daki and Gyutaro, the Upper Moon 6 spot was filled by Akaza, the demon who was previously ranked as Upper Moon 3.

The Transition:

  • Akaza is a highly skilled and powerful demon who fought Tanjiro Kamado and others during the Mugen Train Arc. After the death of Upper Moon 3, Akaza was promoted to Upper Moon 3.
  • The vacancy in the Upper Moon 6 ranking following Daki and Gyutaro’s death was filled by Akaza after he was promoted.

Conclusion:

After Daki and Gyutaro were defeated, the Upper Moon 6 position was filled by Akaza, as he was promoted from Upper Moon 3 to the new spot, continuing the demon hierarchy's reshuffling.
