Why do I still like kids stuff as an adult?

It's completely normal for adults to still enjoy things they loved as kids! There are a few reasons why this happens:

  1. Nostalgia: Certain toys, shows, or games are tied to positive memories from childhood. They remind you of simpler times, or of moments when you felt joy and excitement. As adults, revisiting these things can provide a sense of comfort and connection to the past.

  2. Escape and Relaxation: Life can be stressful, and sometimes engaging with "kid's stuff" offers a much-needed escape. Things like toys, cartoons, or games provide a break from adult responsibilities and allow you to relax and unwind.

  3. Timeless Appeal: Many things created for kids are designed to be universally enjoyable. For instance, many cartoons, video games, and toys are crafted with creativity, fun, and imagination in mind—qualities that appeal to people of all ages.

  4. Hobbies and Collecting: For some adults, playing with toys or collecting items (like action figures, Lego sets, etc.) can turn into a hobby. This could be a form of creative expression, an appreciation for craftsmanship, or even a way to connect with a community of like-minded people.

  5. Cultural Connection: A lot of adults continue to enjoy "kids stuff" because of the cultural significance it holds. You might bond with others over shared interests, or feel a connection to the communities surrounding popular franchises like Star Wars, Marvel, or gaming.

Ultimately, there's no age limit on enjoying the things that make you happy, and as long as it doesn't interfere with your responsibilities or well-being, indulging in "kid's stuff" can be a healthy, enjoyable part of life.
